Yes. I have the baby brother. It is fantastic. It has support for TMC
but I don't use it - I believe it requires a subscription to turn it
on?
The unit I have is DIN size (includes integral radio & CD, with boot
mounted nav pack), and the lack of a full map (due to limited
display) isn't really a great limitation. It does take a while to
learn how to use it/get used to the style of directions & judging
distances accurately. I'm pretty sure it's not connected to the
reversing light (why would it care?) - all the wiring including
speedo sense was present on the radio wiring harness in my car (I
watched the installer do his thing) - I imagine the same will be true
of any modern car which has a sat-nav option.
