I would buy Comfort again mainly for its telephone control features.  The
benefits as I see it are that I can do almost anything in Comfort, test it
and leave well along and my house is protected and it phones me up when its
in trouble or if I want messages relayed to my mobile.

I have never had any trouble programming Comfort with CS-Xpress and find it
straight forward to do so.  I want flexibility in my setup and Comfort
gives me that, if however someone is looking for something to just protect
their house while their out, there are cheaper, less flexible alarm out
there that will that will be up to the job.

S.

All fair points Patrick.  Although I think it's worth pointing out that off
all the Comfort users at the meeting you were the only one who said you
wouldn't buy it again.

Comfort is much more than a an alarm with a serial interface too.  It has
lots of other features over and above a "standard" alarm like 2-way IR,
Digital Voice Mail boxes, Telephone control from anywhere in the world,
Doorphone to Mobile forwarding etc.

Thanks

M.
