Okay assuming this ever gets to the list.....am I being stupid or what?

I have got the file downloaded but just burning it to a CD will not boot, I
am trying to use Nero but do I need something else?

You say it is an image(?) then should Nero recognise it as such, I tried to
point Nero to it but it did not work.

Sorry to be a pain but I do not understand what the .iso is?
