RE: Pronto - got mine - help
Grow a fingernail for the job :-)
Seriously though the end of your fingernail is fine for the job of pressing
the buttons.
I tend to leave it on the arm of the sofa, as you say the IR is very good
on
this unit.

Subject: [ukha_d] Pronto - got mine - help
Got my Pronto from LetsAutomate. Good service. Not sure if I like
the Clipsal switches I also got though.
I was expecting the Pronto to have codes for other makes built in, in
a similar way to my Sony Amp remote. Anyway I programmed in the TV but ...
I seem to be having trouble making the screen presses register - it seems
to be my finger footprint being larger than the button. It would seem that
a large if not all the actived screen area must be over the button.
Has anyone had this problem? what's the solution?
I guess I could make the buttons bigger.
On a slightly more general note - how are you holding it? I did find that
the
IR floods the room so I could use it resting on the sofa.
Cheers
Keith
