Now my problem is how to interface the control box to a wired bell box that is already there.  When the alarm triggers it sends the all units on, all units off command over the mains, and I want a cheap (less than £40) solution to trip the external sounder.   The control box is an HomeTech HTS100.

Can anyone think of a quick method of accomplishing this?  I have access to a power socket on the wall behind the wall with the external sounder on so some x10 solution would be great..  I also have spare appliance modules.

Good old Trago Mills, amazing what they sell, wouldn't be surprised is they had a pallet of Epods somewhere as well at a fiver each.

The alarm bell should ring with a standard 12v supply, in which case you could use your spare appliance module, with a 12v adapter plugged in and connected to your alarm bell.
