Can anyone suggest a solution for the following.

I have an ANCIENT wired alarm, key based, mounted the furthest possible distance from the front door.

At some stage -when I can afford it - I'll put comfort in.  Currently the price is stopping me..

Last time I was in cornwall, I paid a visit to Trago Mills and they had hundreds of boxes of Protech wireless alarms, that consisted of the control box, an x10 lamp module, keyfob, wireless contact switch and wireless pir and wireless x10 remote - absolute bargain at £58.  (more contact sets were £6, Keyfobs £5 and PIRs £10)

So I've put this in place, as an interim measure as my home alarm.

Now my problem is how to interface the control box to a wired bell box that is already there.  When the alarm triggers it sends the all units on, all units off command over the mains, and I want a cheap (less than £40) solution to trip the external sounder.   The control box is an HomeTech HTS100.

Can anyone think of a quick method of accomplishing this?  I have access to a power socket on the wall behind the wall with the external sounder on so some x10 solution would be great..  I also have spare appliance modules.

Any ideas folks?

Matthew
