John I think Ian Birds solution would be better suited for this, as it is
networkable, and logic can be controlled by a pc linked to the units via a
serial to RS485 interface which all the tx/rx units comunicate.

It is really good and interesting system which I hope to develop pc software
for, and use myself in my home.
Since I don't have homevision I want to use this method instead of franks,
and I see it as more "controllerble" which I can bend to meet my needs,
which I like.

Both systems seem really good.
