            Sounds like a good idea , isnt that a web control thingy ? but
you still need to generate the ir . I was thinking of doing a rs232/FIRM
adapter ,but im not keen on capturing and passing the ir signal . My initial
thoughts were use a software program like girder to tx + rx  ir signal on
one serial port and  send tx zones and rx zone status on another serial port
but not sure if that can be done  ............
