About 3-4 years ago I imported a Ford Puma from France and saved well
over
3K.  The whole buying experience was very good, with the dealer even
picking
us up from the ferry port and dropping us of at the shops after.  At
the
time I'd definitely recommend anyone to buy abroad.  In the UK the
dealer
let me go on a test drive but was absoulely useless at explaining the
options etc.
