Wireless AP - Help

Mate in states wants to bring back a wireless AP (preferably Linksys
WAP11).
However, all the radio shacks etc only have wireless ROUTERS on the
shelves.
Now, there is little difference in the price between the two, but he wants
to know if he can use something like the one in the link below as a
wireless
"bridge" between his wired and wireless LAN in the way you can
with the
WAP11.  Oh, and that's a cable router, will he be able to use it pluged
into
his wired LAN using ICS?
