Item 5/6 - I also get this; I find it happens when I try and switch to another port within the 5 'settle' period.

Item 7 - You have to enable the beep using Scroll-lock Scroll-lock S

But it is the auto-repeat that is kicking me in the guts; I have search high and low on the web to find the Windows 2K registrye ntry that fixes it. No info so far.

A few anomalies I have found - all in all though it's made my desktop a lot tidier !

    1) Auto repeat not working in W2K - or as you say only 8 characters
    2) Extended keyboard keys not supported on PS2 keyboards (on USB are OK). (Would love to be able to program a function key to switch) - I am going to try two keyboards to get around this - one just for switching - I think I have one that holds key sequences internally somewhere.
    3) Quite a delay ~5secs in switching using front panel select switch (think this to allow the USB to settle to new PC)
    4) Can't switch using hot key with USB keyboard (as per manual), can use select switch but 3) makes switching tedious.
    5) Channel names transposed when switching using hotkeys but correct when switching using front panel select switch - anyone else get this ??
    6) Sometimes channel names stay on screen indefinitely - esc does not cancel -scrollock a few times gets rid and corrects the problem in 5) temporarily
    7) No beep from unit when I press scrollock twice (contrary to manual)
    8) Belkin site has no specific info on support for this model - missing link perhaps
    8) Not sure if there is any firmware tweaks or upgradeability have emailed Belkin TS. (The USB to PS2 adaptor does have some limited tweaking and I think that is what is built into the switch).

Has anybody else noticed that under Windows 2000, you only get 8 characters
with an auto-repeat, but Windows 98 works normally?

Is there a registry hack to stop this, as it is annoying; but at least
Windows 98 is ok, which is where this would be a real pain for games.

In case anyone in the East London area was looking for these PC-
World in Beckton had a stack left on a shelf.  No price tags but
when I took it to the till it was £47.  Did someone find cheap all-
in-one cables somewhere for these?

Cheers,
Matt P
