Final Comment on the localhost 'problem'.  I installed Nescape 6.1 just on
the off-chance, the whole 17MB download ... and localhost works great every
time.  Must be something to do with IE that was forcing me to use
127.0.0.1.
Game over, switching back to Nestscape. (Went to IE after major problems
when I moved to Nescape 6 in early days.)
