Thanks to a generous sister we received a DVD player for Christmas. A
double
bonus since as well as improved picture quality, we now have 4 remotes
perched on the arm of the sofa, which through extensive drunken testing
we've verified is one remote too many.
I know that there's a new Pronto due out, plus a colour one, but as I can
only justify and need a very basic version, is there any reason I wouldn't
want to buy the current Pronto? Does it have any viable rivals for the same
price or less?
One final OT question: our DVD player exhibits glitches (visual or sound
stutters, plus the lip sync can go off) in playback at specific points on
DVDs - is this the fault of the DVD or player, and if the player, is it a
faulty player or bad design of player?
Cheers!
