I disabled line fault alarm fairly early on in my Comfort experience too.
Not so much to do with the WAF factor but more because I got a bit fed up
of
waking up in a blind panic between 2am and 5am every other morning :-(
That was on a standard analogue line at the time, since upgraded to home
highway. I've not tried the line fault detection on home highway since
then.
