For those interested, there is a new UK-based (Reading) Company called n-sine ltd developing a power line carrier based protocol using Asics at 2.5mbps, dev kits will be available for Linux too. They have of $10 million venture funding from Europe. They are working around co-existence with X10, Lon and CEBus, looks rather interesting.
 
 
PS. Our X10 supplies are back to normal now (the Swedish takeover is complete, at last!)
