I will do as you suggest.
I understand that there's not much chance I can save it.
I'm probably looking at a new system.
In your opinion, am I better off 1) replacing the control box with a new, b=
etter box and keeping the wired system, or 2) starting over with a wireless=
 system? I'm not a security system expert, just a reasonably capable homeow=
ner.
