Bottom feeding collection agencies also put a damper on things by
reporting false credit information...right name, wrong person, wrong
SS#. So why is the consumer, which is the innocent victim here, forced
to pay or deal with, to get these sort of things off their credit report?

I was getting collection calls everyday for Juan Rojas, Jose A. Rojas,
this Rojas, that Rojas, and if left unchecked, I would probably get it
slapped on my credit report. Not that I would care anyway, because I
always believe in pay as you go.

I did a free credit report on myself a few years ago. Let me tell you,
for someone who doesn't have any credit cards, or open credit anywhere,
I sure had enough chargeoffs, non pays, mysterious judgements, etc on my
credit report. No matter how many letters I wrote to the big three
credit agencies, these false reports always took many months, if not
years to come off my credit report. Now since my credit profile is
basically empty now, it shows I am even a bigger risk than ever before.

Se La Vie.

Jim Rojas
