Re: Vista 10 SE and fire alarm



Zone 5 is default programmed for fire and takes a 1K ohm resistor like the
other zones. On unused zones you can deprogram it and or put resistor across
it. I usually do BOTH, for a few reasons; I know where the resistor is in
case I DO want to use that zone later and because some panels I use and view
status with remote programmer will show a deprogrammed zone as faulted if
there is no resistor - which is temporarily confusing to me :-)
