I only have one receiver (no backup).  Not sure about the 10 second
handshake...will see if mine is the same (don't believe it is).  I do
not use the AHS lookup.  Will look into it.  As for the IP cards I have
3 IP cards in the receiver.  All three are behind different routers (one
on a VLAN, one on a VPN over a WAN, and the third on a VPN onto the
internet).  The three are because each IP card needs to talk to a
different type of network.
