Re: Problem With ADT System - Need Advice

>First off Sorry to hear that Robert( or for that matter any person is ill)
Most folks here wish the best for Robert as well. Some don't and make no
secret of it.

>Immediately Robert and Roland started attacking Sonitrol (SonaTrash).
Not true! I never referred to Sonitrol as Sonitrash. I wish I had thought
that one up, but that was Bass. I just laughed when I read it.
>I never said one bad thing about YOUR TECHNOLOGY.
You didn't write this?
'You can't do what Sonitrol does because your technology is limited and
antiquated.' No you didn't say one bad thing, it was two actually; or this
is not what you consider bad.
I don't own a patent on any technology, so it's not mine. I can't speak for
Bass. As a practical matter I don't think I represent one technology.
Perhaps that gets to the point best. A one size fits all solution is not
generally in the customer's best interest. There are many types of
installation other dealers can do better than we can. Some examples include
home automation, high rise fire systems, banks and nurse call. I doubt that
any of those items are a Sonitrol forte either. To have a one size fits all
product means it better be one hell of a product. To compare and contrast is
what goes on here. Most of these guys have long in the tooth experience.
Just enthusiasm for the product is not going to be enough to sway them.
These guys are, for the most part, entertained by a good verbal dust up.
Insults, snide remarks, bitter rants, personal attacks, and all sorts of
things not found in polite society are the things that go on here. Sometimes
someone talks about alarms.
