Alarm screens are usually made by specialty companies that just make =
alarm screens. I have a guy I use that goes out for me, takes =
measurements to make new screens (or picks up the existing frames), then =
goes back and installs them for me. All I have to do is have the wires =
and magnet/switches installed for him to connect to.

3'x4' cost me about 50 bucks wholesale..something like that...then =
figure installation - but depends on if people want shade-screen =
material or regular stuff - also depends on what kind of frame is =
needed.

Another option is called "venting" (I dont really like this too =
much)...if your switches are in the right place on the window frame you =
can install a second magnet about 4 inches away so you can leave the =
window open a little bit. This is cheaper but has some serious =
disavantages...like someone could reach in and bypass the switch, or =
more likely you leave a window open and go on vacation for 3 weeks and =
come home to a rain-soaked living room.
