Napco panels are very strong.... just try and get a pre-punched knockout
out.

I have been installing Napco since 1983 and don't remember any recalls.

from flakey switches.  Takes a genuine 750 ms opening to create an
activation.

DOS software was great!  Easy to use and understand.  Improvements have been
made on their Windows Versions.  Should finally be fixed with their next
revision.

Napco can be configured to do almost anything with any zone or any user you
would want.

Napco has extremely fast access to quality tech support.  They are New
Yorkers, so you have to make an allowance, but they are fast and
knowlegeable.

No higher than any other system I have used.  We have a lot of lightning and
electrical storms in the Houston area.  Short of the few panels in homes
that have taken a direct strike and fried everything, we have had very few
panels fail.  Some problems with keypads, but with the number installed
(Generally three pre home and probably somewhere near 500/600 systems) the
failure rate is modest.  Beginning to have some problems with the old RP854
keypads, but they are 20 years old and the customers have never changed
their user code.

I think Napco is one of the best systems available to us.
