Why do you have to find the buried resister? All you need is the wire that
connects to it.
The (D)EOL problem is that it TAKES TIME to do it right and nobody wants to
pay for it, thanks to the "free" alarm system, free service idiots
mesmerized by RMR.

It also turns out to be a service problem too...finding that buried resistor
someone installed 10 years ago and now the homeowner had installed a granite
countertop right over the window sill covering the buried resistor.
