Some areas will stop the truck and some won't, it all depends on the local
admin, and if you aren't happy with the CS then find another, plenty out
there

All I can say is I was in far north Texas at a mountain bike rally today, no
cell service at all, glad I didn't get an alarm eh?

Unlike a cell phone a central station won't run low on batteries or have
inadequate cell reception, they are always there which isn't something I can
say about me answering my own cell phone

Answering isn't the problem, the response after that is

I've seen insurance companies happy with a lot of arrangements that I
wouldn't consider even close to proper security but hey it's your system
