Personal preference. If you can find contacts with screw terminals that look
good/work well for your home...great. If y ou can make a good connection in
a wall...good too...either way. As long as they aren't cheepy contacts.

22/4 is going for about 32.00 per K. Copper is high and so are petroleum
products (jacket) - look for a wire price increase very soon.

Contacts are a few bucks apiece.

RJ & Cord set...2-4 bucks (2 if you buy the chinese ones)

The above would cost about 26+/- bucks wholesale.
