Re: Security Certification



Thats a shame they do not update the training  every year I go to electrical
meetings etc were there aways answering questions  covering new codes etc.
but the real shock came to many fire alarm installers in this state when
asked to prove there qualified to install alarms as NFPA requires now that
ICC is in effect in Pa. the answer 30 years experince in the field was not
one of the means to meet the requirement. and 80% of installers and
installing companys day 1 new law went into effect found out the hard way
that they had to scramble to get trained and certified.
