Tony and I wrote one :)

It uses blowfish encryption on the internet portion, and connects two
"sites" point to point - that being said, if you want to turn it
into a
service (or write a fresh one), rather than a standalone app... ;)

Yep - it doesn't work - the VPN doesn't pass broadcast traffice from one
side to the other, although it does use xhcp ok, so whilst you can't send
an
xpl message, you can ask the xplhal on the other side to send one for you.
NOT ideal!
