I'm really sorry about this, but I missed a step (I know it's a pain
to keep uninstalling, reinstalling and restarting).
After installing the xPLHub, you need to restart the xPLHal service
before quiting and running xPLHal Manager again. The reason is that
otherwise the hub may not receive another heartbeat from xPLHal for
a few minutes, so won't know to pass any messages on to it.
This is also potentially a problem that might occur on startup - if
the xPLHal service starts before the xPLHub - but this will be
solved when the new version of xPLHal is released after testing.
