RE: Re: xpl devices

It's just the anti-spam measures - when someone signs up, their first few
posts through the group have to wait on one of the moderators to approve
the
message - when we are happy that we don't have a viagra salesman on our
hands, we can turn off the moderation (which I did for Andrew this
morning!)

> Anyone got any ideas......He has xPLHAL running as well as
xPLHUB........

I think it will need John or Tom to have a wee look at - the only thing I
am
thinking of from the error posted is that the xpLHub might be binding to
the
PC's internet connection rather than local network, then complaining if the
PC goes offline.. (Possibly!)

It might be worth running the xplsettings exe in the xplhal folder, and
forcing the xPL tools to use the internal network connection instead of it
being ambiguous.

was
it xAP ??

It's xPL, but it's also not the Slimp3 device itself - it's the SlimServer
software... The Slims don't have quite enough "oomph" to run xPL
on their
own.

Ian.
