Hope you have better luck getting streaming to work than I did!

I've added a new module type to xplmedianet "helper"

A helper provides a shared function, that can be loaded multiple times with
different parameters (but all called thru a standard interface call)

E.g. a tags helper processes a file and returns id3/flac/ogg tag details
(or
uses a folder/file format)

The media scanner would use this to get the track information for the
database

A browse module would use it so that when a client requests a track to
play,
it can return the track info on the fly (as it has no database)

The ability to load multiple versions (actually all modules can be loaded
multiple times if appropriate) means you could specify different tag
options
for different sources using the same tag reader module

Regards
Tony
