Hi all,
Have just published latest version at www.xplhal.com
Those on a recent version just need to update xplrionet.exe and
receiver.arf
(replaces rio.bin) and transcode.xml (disables mp3/ogg/flag transcoding for
Rio's)
Others should either follow instructions previously posted to the list or
perform a new install (remember to fully stop service before un-installing
existing installation)
This version is mainly Rio Receiver based changes, but some fixes are for
all users
The rio now supports a clock when powered off by editing the rio entry in
xplrionet.xml as follows: <rio enabled="Y"
lineout="N" clock="Y"
clocklight="N" clock24hr="Y" />
If you start the new service and then stop it you will find in clients.xml
the rio's now have 3 new options as follows: balance="0"
contrast="5"
brightness="48"
Many thanks to Paul Noffke for the use of Riot, John B for fixing my
coding,
and the testers (Andy, Gary and Tim).
Frank - I've now added some basic MVP bootup logging - send me your latest
folder and I'll update it for you
Bill - if you make xplrionet.xml "logging" section
enabled="N" web="Y" it
will log web stuff so we can look at the duplicate problem
Next thing I'm looking at is the MVP MP3 stuttering issue reported by Steve
Regards
Tony
