Re: xPL cm11 Service

Hi,

The comport is marked as a configuration item of type "config"
meaning
that it is not "reconfigurable". That is why xPLHalManager does
not
show it in the configuration screen.
The only work-around I found is to remove the component from the known
devices. There ar a few manipulation necessary for this:
- quit the xPLHalManager
- stop the XPLCM11 service
- stop the xplHal service
- delete xpl_medusa-xxx.instance1.3.0.xml in the windows\system32 directory
- delete medusa-xplcm11_xxx.cfg in the Program
Files\xPL\xPLHal\Data\Configs\Current directory

(xxx = the instance name)

To get the device in the "Awaiting Configuration" state:
- start the xplHal service
- start the XPLCM11 service
- start xPLHalManager
- double-click the device to open the configuration screen.

This time it will show the "comport" item.

hth,
Tom
