Howdy,
One suggestion -- perhaps the keys could be sent as mnemonic names instead
of keycodes.
Keycodes are, at a minimum, likely to either vary by keyboard design or by
platform (windows/linux/mac). While I realize xPLMediaNet is chained to
Windows, I can image something like what you are discussing may have a
future as a new schema that could be implemented by other folks wanting to
add similar functionality.
So if the codes where more like
CTRL-C
RIGHT-ALT-F
LEFT-SHIFT-Q
LEFT-SHIFT-LEFT-ALT-F1
They could be parse on the receiving end into the format most appropriate
for the paltform.
