Good, good - it's not the only way, but it is the best way.
The determinators are absolutley awesome - you can add a stack of
conditions, and actions (which are executed in order) and get some quite
intelligent behaviour...
One thing I do is add a Global variable called "OnHoliday", set
to YES
or NO - you can then add a "compare global to a literal value"
condition
to a determinator, and have one for each state - for example, disabling
your midweek wake-up call when on holiday.
It's a brilliant system!

Your instructions were perfect. It worked correctly the first time. I
really appreciate you taking the time to type that up.=20=20
I am guessing the only way to automate turning off the light after a
specified amount of time is to create another determinator and event
dedicated to turning off the fish tank light?
