what i'm trying to acheive is a professional looking front end - i
have a couple of touchscreens around this house which i wish to
display useful info on in a grahpical way - live status of
lights/sensors/temperature. I also want to be able to control such
devices so as an example, having a 2d picture of the house layout,
been able to press the light icon in the main bedromm and have light
turn on (which then changes its status on the touchscreens). After
browsing around more, i see i could also use the xAP Desktop although
it would take a bit to get all the graphics looking sweet (much more
of a direct approach though)
