Re: New and stupid

I'm sure you're not stupid - just new :-) Welcome to xPL.

Rather than me explain everything from scratch, perhaps you could let me
know what you have tried so far (saves telling you things you already
know!)

If you've not found anything so far at all, try www.xplproject.org.uk,
which
is the home page of the xPL project. If you look in the Support FAQ
section, you will find a description of what xPL is and how it all works.
The how-to guides in the Project Documentation section should help you too.

To download the core xPLHal application (which includes an xPL hub),
install
xPLHalSetup which you can download from the xPLHal section of
www.xplhal.com. (Note: the version of xPLHal that is listed on the
www.xplProject.org.uk website appears to be out of date, so don't install
that).

The xPL Homevision app can be found in the xPL Gateway Applications section
of the xPL Downloads at www.xplProject.org.uk

For the W800RF32, you need my W800 Windows service which you can download
from here
www.lansell.org/mal/ha/ha_downloads.shtml

I'm
interested in using it to convert signals received on a W800RF32 and
pushing
them out to my home automation system (Homevision).

to
