Re: Trouble getting xPL Comfort to work
John
I've got xpl-Comfort running on the same PC as xPLHal and have changed the
config a couple of times and it hasn't picked it up properly. I haven't
had chance to investigate properly but on one occasion I just updated the
xml file in Winnt\Systems32 instead and restarted instead.
Also I have noticed a problem where by the app seems to lose communications
with the UCM. The log shows a AL13 received (which is strange as AL00-03
are the valid values) it then just shows the user code being sent but
nothing back in return. In may be an issue with my old UCM but again not
had chance yet to debug.

Hi Rob,
Sorry for the late reply.

Is xPL Comfort running on the same PC as xPLHal?
Running xPL Comfort on a different PC that wasn't running an xPL hub could
cause this behaviour.

If you look at the xpl Comfort device in xPLHal Manager, the user code
should be listed as a configurable item and you can see what it's currently
set to.
