Re: Re: Link to previous version of xPLRioNet?

I've had this issue a few times while testing, it normal comes from the rio
crashing or the rio software being a different version making the rio
crash. The best and most reliable fix is as follows:

1) Unplug the rio
2) Stop and restart the rionet service on the PC
3) Restart the rio

If you just stop and restart the rio it sometimes doesn't find music
server.

Hi, Tony. It's not a big deal, really. I expect teething pains, and
this software is just soooo much better than any other third party
app I've found for the Rio.

I did power cycle the Rio after doing the upgrade. At least I assume
I did it correctly - basically unplugged it for a few seconds. So
far this evening I've had no luck with getting it to find the
server. It searches for a few minutes and then displays IP info.
that seems to indicate the correct gateway and subnet mask, even a
reasonable IP, but it never does connect.

I'll wait for 3.6c and see if I get along any better. Thanks again
for a great piece of software.

Bill
