Hi all,

Have got the rio tts delay down to 3 to 4 seconds while playing, and was
about to start on the mod's to allow it to do tts when not playing - when I
reached a critical decision.

The way the rio native client works has been bugging me for sometime.
Currently it pulls tracks (or shoutcasts) down when it's told to - and it's
this that leads to lock up's on the rio side if something goes wrong.

So I've decided to temporarily suspend any more xplrionet releases while I
concentrate my efforts on rewriting the client into a pushed tcp client
like
the exsteamer.

Basically this means it will sit there receiving data into it's receive
buffer, and at a set level (or on command for a small amount of data) will
start playing. This will make it much easier and stable to control from
xplrionet.

Don't expect to see any new xplrionet developments for a couple of weeks.

Regards
Tony
