Have you updated the xPL monitor to the latest version from Tony's site?
(i.e.
the one that uses the newly assigned port)

I don't actually have a Rio, so can't offer any direct assistance on
Rioplay,
but I'm guessing the version you had previously used was using the old
port.

Basically xPL was recently allocated the port 3865 by IANA (the Internet
Assigned Numbers Authority) which meant we had to re-release all our xPL
apps to
use the new port. So if you have any xPL apps that you downloaded more than
a
couple of weeks ago, they are probably using the old port.
