Schema proposal: audio.slimserv

Hi all,

I would like to propose the audio.slimserv schema as an extension to
audio.basic
to support the functionality of SlimServer - <a href="http://www.slimdevices.com.";>http://www.slimdevices.com.</a>

I have posted it on xplproject.org.uk under documentation -> xPL
schemas.
(link may wrap)
<a href="http://www.xplproject.org.uk/modules.php?op=modload&name=Sections&file=index&req=viewarticle&artid=32&page=1";>http://www.xplproject.org.uk/modules.php?op=modload&amp;name=Sections&amp;file=index&amp;req\
=viewarticle&amp;artid=32&amp;page=1</a>

The majority of extended commands are simply the same as the CLI
specification
for SlimServer itself.

I have almost completed the first version of an xPL module that will sit
directly inside the server software, avoiding the need for any connector
application to be present, and expanding xPL support of the SlimServer to
any
platform that can run SlimServer - not just Windows.

If anyone is interested in testing it, can you drop me a note offlist and
I'll
send over the source bundle.
You'll need to have ActivePerl v5.8.1 installed (available from
www.activestate.com).

Regards,

John
