Absolutely.

xAP is a really poor fit for X10, as you end up speaking in X10 terms
and housecodes and stuff.  No-one has a device called an H4 - the
device is whatever is plugged into appliance module addressed H4, and
it is that name that should be seen, example
"christines_bedside_light".

Trouble is, X10 is ubiquitous, so it was inevitable that it would end
up with a schema.

(And although no-one has an H4, some have a B3 or a C3 - apologies for
poor organ joke)
