RE: xAP Viewer crashing on Vista :(

The tcp/ip stack in Vista is all new so I'm lead to believe; it certainly
behaves very differently to the XP version. There's new versions of Viewer
hub etc to be out shortly. Paul, I'll send you a beta to try..

OK - so I found the latest installers - trouble is I get the following
error
trying to install the service version of the hub on Vista (which had
previously been running an older version of the service):



Error 1001. Unable to create an instance of the
HubService2.ServiceInstaller
installer type. --> Exception has been thrown by the target of an
invocation. --> Category does not exist.



I also tried running msiexec from an admin command prompt but the same
error.



I also installed the newer viewer but it too crashes like the old version.
The error log shows:



Fault bucket 160719822, type 5

Event Name: CLR20r3

Response: None

Cab Id: 0



Problem signature:

I haven't used viewer for a month or so and just launched it to check on
some stuff - it now crashes every time after about a minute. Version I have
is v3.0.2707.26038 for framework v2.0.2707.26035

Is this one Edward's? Is there a later version and where can I get it from?
