Hi James,

=20

I tried the file:// method but that didn=92t work.

=20

I=92m now using http:// from the local file server. The images are being
FT=
P=92d at least once a second. Still crashing Launcher L

Paul,
You mentioned before you were going to access the image over UNC or via a
f=
ile:// <file:///\\> url ? Is this still the case or is it now doing
an htt=
p:// for the image. I use http:// here on vista and don't get crashes
even=
when a dodgy frame turns up. If you are just uploading an image via ftp a=
nd not doing it very often, try uploading it to a different file name and
o=
nce uploaded issue a rename command. That may help as you won't get a
corru=
pt image, in theory.

=20

Pretty sure it=92s the image that=92s the problem L

Subject: [xap_automation] Launcher and doorbell

=20

I=92ve got my doorbell cctv pic now showing when my Comfort doorbell is
pre=
ssed J

Running Launcher on Vista has a problem with the refresh part of the xAP
me=
ssage though =96 it hangs Launcher half of the time. Seems OK so far if I
r=
emove the refresh statement. The images are being uploaded to a local FTP
s=
erver and I=92m wondering if a half uploaded image is the problem. I also
s=
ee a grey screen occasionally on a refresh =96 this I guess is a partially
=
uploaded image?

Also, I have 3 screens =96 is it possible to set where the popup appears
an=
d on which screen?

Looking good though J

Cheers,

Paul.
