switchboard, floorplan & xpl

first off, is there a xap phone app that works w/ a generic internal
modem?  xaptel seems to only support external, serial modems.

since i don't have a xap phone app, i'm using tony t's xpl phone app
for caller id.  the app sends out caller id info multiple times during
a call.  floorplan converts those xpl messages to xap and switchboard
picks them up.  it thinks it received a new call every time an xpl
message is broadcast w/ caller id.  so my switchboard logfile is
quickly filling up w/ calls.  is there any way around this?
