Re: Re: xAP Floorplan beta 5 released

Darren,

The setup is basically this:
Go to the config pages and select the link tab.
Add new
enter a nice name in alias eg 'Upstairs PIR'
in the source box pick the pir
in the Devices to control pick all the lights you want the pir to control
Set the link type to 'Any change turns on'
In run after X minutes enter the delay you want from the last pir
movement to when the lights go off and in the dropdown next to that
select 'linked'
click update.

Now any change to the pir will cause the lights to turn on. It will also
generate a new timer which you will be able to see on the timer tab,
this timer is what will turn the lights off. The timer will self delete
when it runs so it will disappear after it runs. If the pir is triggered
again then you will notice the timer will be updated with a new time,
you won't get duplicates.

You can have as many of these setup as you like.
If you are wondering what 'Linked' means in the run after X line. It
simply means control the devices selected from the list. If you wanted
to get clever here you could pick a script instead and add even more
smarts.
