James,

thanks for that, it is working really well. I had fogotten one other
slight requirement... I only want to turn the light on if it is dark
e.g. my darkness sensor has previously reported that it has gone
dark. The timer triggering for each movement irrespective of the
state of the darkness sensor is probably OK (subject to the
unnecessary consumption of windows resources that is!).

As an enhancement - when seting up the Links is is possible to
display the Aliases as an alternative to the device names
