TelCanto can already act as a UPnP Media Renderer and I'm well on the
way to implementing Media Server support.  I also hope to produce a
Pocket PC Media Controller.

I guess from Jeremy's original post that it is media controller
functionality you want, i.e. to be able to use xAP to control an
existing UPnP media renderer device.  It would probably not be out of
the question to extract some of the functionality from TelCanto in
order to produce a xAP-UPnP gateway - but it wouldn't be next week!
