Yes and no. They did have this ability but I never used it. I changed
a few things earlier in the year and have lost this functionality, but
oddly enough it's making a gradual come-back, and is better
implemented now too. That's how the SlimServer Connector propagates a
change of machine running the SlimServer s/w around itself for
example, piggybacking this same system.

So whilst not there yet, it's something I'm gradually enabling in xFx
so that xFx apps can update themselves dynamically.

If it's okay I'll get to the other queries tomorrow or so as I'm
stacked up right now.
