Personally, I don't need to filter out any emails...yet.
I can see it being a very useful feature for others though.

Have you got or are planning a xAP to email app at all? I use
outlook message rules to forward all of my email to an email to text
message service. It'd be nice to cut out the middle man and do this
with xAP (service obviusly:)). Could have lots of other applications
other than email to email.

Before I forget, someone's pointed me in the direction of a slim
server plugin to launch a text file from the slimp3 UI. Might be
uselful with xapsend. When I get an hour free I'll look at it and
see if my meagre perl knowledge is up to it.
